About Us
The Meaning Behind the Work
Terra Schola began with a simple but enduring question: How might we live more wisely within the living systems that sustain us?
The name means “Earth School” — a reminder that learning does not begin in classrooms alone, but in soil, weather, plants, water, and time. This practice is grounded in the belief that landscapes are not objects to be controlled, but relationships to be cultivated.
At its heart, Terra Schola is about paying attention: to place, to ecology, to cultural memory, and to the quiet intelligence of natural systems.
